National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW)

Welcome to the National Association of Canine Scent Work, LLC^® (NACSW™) membership page:

Thank you for your interest the sport of K9 Nose Work^® and the NACSW™ the only official sanctioning organization for the sport of K9 Nose Work^®.

Entry into official NACSW™ sanctioned trials or ORTs require current NACSW™ membership, dog registration and a score book. A member # and a dog registration # will be required upon entry of the event. If a handler substitution is done at an event the new handler must also have be a current member.

Membership includes/is:

• Required for NACSW™ trial or ORT participation
• Copies of trial score sheets
• Quarterly NACSW™ news bulletin
• Membership to a NACSW™ yahoo group that includes ORT & Trial announcements (coming soon)
• K9 trial stats accessible to members only
• Trial organizer support (trial organizers must be registered with the NACSW™)
• Must be renewed annually

Dog Registration includes/is:

• Required for participation in any NACSW™ sanctioned ORT, titling or championship event
• For the life of the dog
• Trial and ORT scorebook
• K9 Nose Work^® registration number
• Official ORT & trial records and scores

Annual NACSW™ Membership Dues:

· 2011-2012 New Membership rate/year: $30.00

· 2011-2012 Membership renewal rate/year: $20.00 (if renewal is completed by Oct. 31, 2011) - Expired

· 2011-2012 Membership renewal rate/year: $30.00 (if renewal is completed after Oct 31, 2011)

· Note: Memberships completed between April 1, 2012-July 31, 2012 will be discounted to $20 from the regular $30 rate.

This is your NACSW™ membership for handlers which is required for entry in a K9 Nose Work® trial or Odor Recognition Test and is renewable annually.
No prorated membership years other than what is published: Membership runs August 1^st to July 31^st annually

NOTE: 2011 Membership year covers August 1, 2011-July 31, 2012. 

Membership renewal for the 2012-2013 Membership year will be available by May 1st.

NACSW™ Dog Registration and Scorebook:

K9 Registration & Scorebook $30.00

Lifetime registration (non-transferrable) This is a one-time fee to register your dog and obtain a scorebook, which is required for entry in a K9 Nose Work® Trial.

As you sign up for membership, please be sure you complete all the items on the list below.

Please note that you must submit the information form and the payment for both your annual membership and your dog registration for each to be complete.

Your NACSW™ member ID and NACSW™ K9 ID are required to participate in any ORT or trial. You must complete your membership and dog registration a minimum of 14 days prior to an event to guarantee that you will receive these IDS via email in time for the event.

Event results are recorded in your dog's score books for your records. If you wish to receive your score book and/or membership card in time for an event, please complete your membership and dog registration at least 6 weeks in advance. This will ensure that we have time to process your membership and registration, assign your ids and mail your scorebooks and membership cards prior to the event. Please visit the "Membership Questions" page for more information on how to get results and signatures added if you do not have your score book at an event.

NOTE: You may elect to become a member of NACSW™ without registering a dog. Additionally, you may register a dog and obtain a scorebook without becoming an NACSW™ member, but if you enter the dog in either an ORT or trial, the listed handler must be a current member of NACSW™
