Jim began his nose work journey in late 2011 when his first instructor was heard saying “if your dog is food motivated, nose work will be easy!” This was right after completing agility class where his partner would stop after each obstacle to make sure there weren't any treats left behind. They grabbed the last spot in the class!
Jim has since been involved in teaching classes, becoming a CNWI and CO, competing in and hosting trials, volunteering at numerous trials including national trials in California and Colorado. He was able to compete at the New Jersey national trial. Along with his wife Robyn and their two Vizsla’s Kota and Fargo, they enjoy traveling around the country to various dog events.
