A founding member of NACSW and one of the first 7 founding Certified Nose Work Instructors, Kimberly Buchanan has been training since 2007 and competing in K9 Nose Work® since its inception. She works with NACSW’s Trial and Education Divisions, is part of Senior Faculty, a Trial judge and Certifying Official. She also manufactures and sells K9NW products in partnership with Amy Herot and All Good Dogs, LLC.

Kimberly and her Belgian Tervuren Oscar were one of the first few teams to title to an NW1 and NW2. She and her Terv Emmy were the first to have qualified for the challenging NW3 title and the very first team to ever earn the NW3 Elite title (= NW3 x 3). Emmy competed in the first 3 National Invitational events, invited to the 4th and is now working towards her ELT2 title. Kim's Tervuren Zen is working towards his ELT2 title and will be going to the NACSW Invitational in 2017.

Kimberly has trained and competed in Herding, Tracking, Obedience, Schutzhund, French Ring, Dock Diving, and Agility at the local, national and international levels. In addition to Emmy and Zen, Kimberly is currently training her younger dogs Story, Cartoon and Tricks in K9NW, French Ring and Agility. Kim teaches K9 Nose Work® classes and hosts other K9NW activities in Southern California through her company, Joyride K9 Dog Training. She is enthusiastically helping to bring the sport of K9NW to other regions of the US with NACSW and through her online education courses. www.joyridek9.com ~ www.joyridek9.education
